yey I can finally put this photo on my blog, of me and my good pal Rosie Jiggins, who was awarded 2nd place in the competition and me third place. At the Woollen Mill Felindre Drefach. I was a lovely thing to happen to us and with the competition which was so high.   And our work part of th eexhibition too.

final major project update

I have developed a certain print technique and am trapping it within knitted panels which will be part of my final installation.

Using Chrochet and print to creat a slight camouflage effect, and some small samples i have been working on.

So far work is going well, although I do have alot to do by 11th of May. And then it will be of to New Designers in London. I have developed techniques with printing and my pattern cutting has improved. funny how i always told myself i couldn't do it and now i am making dresses, waist coats and vest and shorts. I have come to the conclusion that it is very easy to say you cannot do something, but the reward of trying and succeeding is by far much better, then never knowing.
